Dorrie enjoys music. She counts Duran Duran, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani, The Spice Girls, Panic at the Disco, Beyonce, Paramore, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears among her favorite music artists.

Dorrie loves to travel and has visited nearly every state in the United States of America. She most recently travelled to Graceland the home of Elvis Presley. She counts Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Virginia Beach, and Chicago as some of her favorite vacation destinations.

My Brother is a Baller is her fourth fiction title. Her first book was titled Sparkledoll Always Into Something. Dorrie is currently hard at work on the sequal to Be My Sorority Sister-Under Pressure which is titled Be My Sorority Sister-Living Conditions. She is also working on a book titled Young & Locked Up which is about a young woman who committs a crime and finds herself locked up in a correctional facility.

Dorrie has been divorced for two years now.
